If you never seen Danny MacAskill’s old video part you should definetely youtube it! I am not much of a BMX guy , but I have to give him props. He is just one of a kind! Amazing skills. This video Is actually very well produced.Danny comes back to his hometown Dunvegan, in the Isle of Skye, Scotland. I believe that Redbull plays a big role on the production and the image this video should give. I am so glad that Mr. MacAskill finally decided to wear a decent helmet instead of the old one!

I am very proud to present, KERO TUDO (I want it all). This is a design on-line store by my childhood friend Angelo Nogueira. Angelo is responsible for introducing me to art and illustration. He comes from a family of artist. His dad is an architect, brother is also an illustrator and director, cousins are comic book artists and the list goes on. No wonder he is such a talented human being! I remember when we used to skateboard as kids, Angelo would only meet up after his practicing time, meaning that he always had to draw for few hours everyday.

Hard work pays off. Angelo became a name to recon in the world of design and advertisement in Brazil. After great demand, Angelo is giving us the opportunity to have snippets of his incredible mind by offering awesome products. Well, I’m sure soon he will have his online translated to english because he is already having a big buzz at the world wide web. (click the Picture for Link)

These are long exposure pictures that I shot with my Canon 7D last night. I couldn’t hesitate when I saw these beautiful light beams hitting the clouds coming from World Trade Center site. I grabbed my camera and went to my roof to capture it.

Formely know as Poney Poney, JAMAICA first album is produced by Xavier de Rosnay from JUSTICE. It sounds like PHOENIX (no pun intended) with a touch of Justice of course! I cant wait for them to come to NY and to release a full new album. I am pretty much shure that you will hear from them real soon!

I’ve found this band while I was doing my daily routine at The Cool Hunter . I was instantly impressed with the deep and quite Gothic sound. It reminds me of Interpol, Bauhaus, and Joy division. Can you go wrong? They only have an EP out, but I cant wait for a full blown album and an U.S tour.

Scriptwriting for Animation

I find myself so many times stuck, without a way to start a new project. I always have new ideas and they keep it coming in such a rate that its hard to keep it all together. I’ve always been interested in storytelling. I feel that an image or animation can only be relevant or memorable once there is a main thought, a plan, a “story” behind it. Without a story to me, it just fits the “eye candy” purpose. I always admire good writing and I wish I had the gift for it. My plan is someday to become a person that is valued for my ideas and direction. To me writing, even though I find it so difficult, is the best way to get the initial ideas started, organized and communicated before any visual creation. We are visual thinkers indeed but if we can transmit the visual mess that we have in our heads into words that later could easily become clear moving images, we’re golden.

I’ve decided to do something about it, then I’ve found a pretty cool book about scriptwriting for animation to get it all started. And let’s see what the future holds for me. (click the image for link)
